The full announcement may be announced as early as next Tuesday (14th) Eastern Time, and it is expected to largely maintain the existing taxation. And the possibility of the announcement being delayed is not ruled out. The person added that details about the specific amount or category of tariffs to be imposed are unclear, but the government is said to have focused on areas of interest within the fields of strategic competition and national security. International Electronic Commerce learned that as the November election approaches, Biden has begun to campaign for the election since the end of last year, and the imposition of tariffs is also seen by him as a powerful "vote-pulling" tool. Last month, he called on the United States to significantly increase tariffs on Chinese metal products.
