01 About ROHM

02 Product highlights

● IGBT: 

ROHM's trench gate and thin wafer technology have been used to achieve low VCE(sat) and low switching loss IGBT products. Currently, there are second-generation and third-generation products. The third-generation IGBT has lower overall loss, higher efficiency, and lower component temperature. It covers multiple specifications of 650V/1200V, 4A-50A, mainstream packaging, and automotive-grade (AEC-Q101) products. It is widely used in automotive compressors, motor markets, power supply markets, air conditioners and refrigerators, etc.

● IPM: 

ROHM's IPM (Intelligent Power Module) is a product that integrates the drive circuit and protection function that are most suitable for IGBT devices. The product includes various power levels of 600V, 10A-30A. It has the advantages of high integration, low saturation voltage and high efficiency.

● Silicon Carbide: 

ROHM is in a leading position in the development of SiC power components and modules, has its own wafer fab, and ranks second in the world in SiC market share. Products include SiC Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBD), SiC MOSFETs, full SiC power modules (built-in SiC SBD and SiC MOSFET) and high thermal resistance power modules. Currently, the fourth generation of products has been launched on the market. Its products cover multiple power segments of 650V/1200V/1700V, with complete packaging, and have been successfully used in electric vehicles, solar energy, power supplies and other fields.

● Super Junction MOS: 

Power MOSFET products with a rated voltage of 600~800V use super junction technology. By adopting this technology, high-speed switching and low on-resistance performance are achieved, which can reduce application losses. ROHM offers two types of products: low noise specification and high-speed switching specification.

● Diodes: 

ROHM's diodes rank second in the world, and its products include Schottky diodes, Zener diodes, switching diodes, TVS, rectifier diodes, fast recovery diodes and other products with complete specifications.

● Sensors: 

ROHM has a variety of sensors products such as Hall, illumination, proximity, air pressure, color, temperature, acceleration, etc. They are widely used in consumer IOT and industrial fields.

● Laser diodes: 

ROHM's semiconductor laser products rank first in the industry in terms of output. The product lineup is rich and can be widely used in optical discs, printers, sensors, robots and other equipment.

● Power management: 

ROHM's power management ICs include linear regulators (low power consumption, high current, high voltage resistance), AC/DC converters (with rich built-in protection circuits and low noise functions), DC/DC converters (including FET built-in, FET external, single-channel, system power supply products), power management switch ICs (low on-resistance MOS FET switches and various protection circuits are built-in in a single chip), battery management ICs (with built-in overvoltage detection, overcurrent detection, low voltage detection and other protection functions) and many other varieties.

● SMD LED: 

ROHM's LED (light-emitting diode) is divided into red ~ blue LED, with a rich variety of colors. It has the characteristics of miniaturization technology and high heat dissipation, the development of high heat-resistant PKG, and the promotion of in-house LED components.

● LAPIS: 

LAPIS (Lapis) acquired by ROHM has memory chips, voice/image LSI, MCU, display driver, etc.

● Resistors: 

The world's first SMD resistor with high reliability. There are many products such as general-purpose square SMD resistors, anti-sulfurization resistors, current detection resistors, and anti-surge resistors.

Capacitors

ROHM has conductive polymer capacitors and tantalum capacitors. Its tantalum capacitors use a new high-efficiency packaging design to achieve small, thin, and large capacity.
